The dove
as it sits
calm
and waiting
coos for a new day
Forever in shading

The dove
as it flies
wild
and careless
soars for another land
more meek, more mild

The man
as he sits
calm
and waiting
yearns for more
than his sorrowful fate

The man
as he flies
wild
and careless
will never learn his problem

Is

He sits

And waits

While the dove flies free
