How a change of season might change our general view of life.
Spring time again,
and optimism shines through the trees in the form of sun.
Birds chirp and they tweet, and there's no sadness, or ache in my heart when the day is done.
I feel my spirits lift and the weight on my shoulders is lighter,
when there is a lull in the laughter, and the world grows again quieter,
there's no turmoil in my head,
no sad eyes at bitter things done,
or said.
Just the smell of a new season, as it blooms and blossoms with bold hope,
and the swell in my still beating heart,
Now doesn't wonder how much longer it can cope.
There's a happiness I can't explain, but see reflected back at me in their smiling faces,
my heart is full again, no suspicious cracks or spaces.
For this season, it's brightness and it's unequivocal capability to bring inexplicable joy,
looking up at the optimistic sunshine, I pray for no decoy.
I will not burn in the spring sun, nor simmer, nor blister, nor flame.
Enjoy this season to the fullest, and learn to live life again.
