Toying with an asymmetrical rhyme scheme.

A ream of paper in a wooden box,

Slowly fading in the clocks

Eye; hands spinning, jinxing

Every hour by twisting

And reminding us what's undone--

Each sound ringing one by one.

Still, the thoughtless Penman's

Ship sails over untouched papers' lands,

Giving words with every hand.

Uncharted islands come to life!

A 'K' and an 'N' become the knife

To carve away at 'A's and 'B's

And chop to pieces 'C's and 'D's

Come clarity to hazy thoughts

With articulate illusion;

Find thrill in imaginative imagery in

Writer's block confusion

Seek rhymes and plots to aid your mind

Through any situation

Make rants and raves or fill a page

With infamous quotations

The last sheet is filled with simple ease

What once was stale air is now a breeze!

Thank thoughtlessness for absent writing

That gives us what we need.
