They say Hope is hard to kill
Twinkling Star
Side by side with his friends
Numbering in the billions
Though they blanket the sky
With a dreamy glow,
Hope is brighter still

Flickering Flame
Hot with her brilliance
Sits snugly within her lantern
Though she pushes back darkness
Making Shadow a prisoner,
Hope is brighter still

Illustrious Sun
Proudest light of all
Watches passively through the clouds
Though his presence alone
Challenges the night,
Hope is brighter still
