Stalling Fate



I'm standing at the gate

Stalling as much time as fate

It self allows.

I shouldn't give my hopes up though,

He's not that generous.

I dont blame him.

I've been given so many chances,

I've never taken my life seriously.

Stalling...

More like waiting.

No one's coming...

It's okay,

So many years...

I've learned to bear the pain.

Fate has called

Stupid me,

Look at all the time I've stalled.

I have one last request

From the selfish me,

Let the gates close slowly...
