My fourth poem, hope you enjoy. All reviews welcome, good and bad
The Crumbling Road

It Isn't much of a road
Old with little to goad.

Winding ever into the skies
No railing there resides.

Obstacles lurk within your path
To send you down to Lucifer's wrath.

Each generation does chip away
At this road that has begun decay.

Till one day the road shall die
And no souls ascend the sky.

And mankind will forever curse the name
Of their ancestors who are to blame.
