About a woman- an ordinary one
“She at Dawn”

She at dawn; is silhouetted

Herself against the sun; she shines like a pure crystal

Always at ease; and as temperate as a summer’s day

At dusk, her comely eyes reflect remnants of some old sorrow

Then she flies into the last ray; lost in the horizon.

Her unkempt hair clouds my mind; Reason becomes her slave;

Chased and troubled by those merciless eyes;

My soul tends to fall from grace

I am tamed and brought to knees;

At one slight movement of her lips

I have crossed mountains and battled ghiblis;

But when it comes to her; I am rendered obsolete;

At times I am unbound and go astray;

A falcon, I wander for a while in the wilderness

And then I riposte to her;

For our unison is infinite and immortal

For my world begins and ends with her

For my existence without her is vain
