"Photograph" is a poem revolving around a broken friendship
I remember the times we walked together
All those tears and all the laughters.
I remember you right there, holding my hand,
Telling me not to cry, “come up and stand!”

But I guess now, everything’s changed
No more laughs, our bonds are now chained afar.
It’s like we’re invisible to each other,
Trying to avoid paths, though we can’t either.

I remember that time we sat by the stairs,
I was crying, you said “Hey, I’m always here”
You made me believe in eternity and forever,
But I guess it was just all a slur.

I feel so stupid and so much pain,
Trying so hard to make you stay,
Though I know you’ve already left fear
I still pretend that strength is still here.

I remember sitting by that old building
Laughing so hard, tears even come falling.
I remember you calling my name,
And saying, “I’ll always stay…”

But all those times when we were happy
All those forevers and eternity
We held a grip to each other, if times were tough
but nothing’s left but this faded photograph.
