I'm finding myself to be a bit tired of growing up and acting older than my age specifies.
Dear responsibility,
I know we have been,
good friends,
for the last,
oh-too-many,
years,
but i do believe,
we should take a,
break.

You see,
I want,
to dance,
like the world doesn’t matter,

to sing,
as if there was no future.

I wish to lie on my back,
and stare up at the clouds,
and think of absolutely,
nothing.

I would love to be as carefree,
as a child,
for just one,
day.
