The day of losing my boyfreind and the pain
Played a fool in the jokers card game,
the truth reveal with a ungaurded hand of cards.
THe fortuded of youth lost in time, decades faded
from sight.

Took the time to get to know you, to love to trust
But I was unworthy of it.
I believed what you said, I trusted every word yet
I’ve realized love it no longer exists
As for told by me “love” It’s a emotion a word

With no meaning, used by others for a cruel purpose
To hurt and to deceive, to slip into the heart of one
Yet only meaning to cause them pain

I was a fool to believe you; I was played the part of what
I thought I would never be, and you, wilingly hurt me
Did you think about it? Did you question why? Did you?
Did you think of me once, or is this some sadistic game of yours?
To count how many people you hurt by breaking their hearts.
Told over and over again, what you were

Yet I saw a part of you, which was not there, I tried so hard
Yet it was all in vain because I was only part of your cruel game.
