First time trying
He rode the brown chestnut horse up the dirt road towards the old house on the hill. The setting sun shining into his eyes made it hard to keep a low profile in the saddle.Dressed in smart, form fitting, western clothing, his dark, wide brimmed hat tipped downward to shade his eyes,he worried that they could be waiting in ambush and he  would never know until it was to late. His horse kept to its steady pace and darkness overtook them. The almost extinguished sun revealed  the brewing storm rolling in off the ocean. As they reached the small house he discovered that it was only the gatekeepers house and that the main house was hidden behind a grove of tall hemlocks higher up the craggy stone hill facing the ocean.
