This is a short poem on Marxist theory and fitting in within a closed system.
Marx you puzzle me,
With such a straightforward philosophy.
It seems as though it would work,
But for all? That's the jerk.

It eliminates power,
That Western cultures need,
To control the population,
Through power and their greed.

Do they find pleasure in greed?
And where is the balance of pain?
For then this perfect system,
Seems to be in vain.

So we tear apart a landscape,
For it's "our's", is it not?
No animals to deserve it also?
We'd rather let them rot.

And Marx, according to you,
We all do what suits us,
So shouldn't they then also,
Even though they can't discuss?

Say they choose a forest,
For it's green the berries,
Not for machines to tear it down,
Though results may vary.

It is now I question,
How it got to be this way,
Racing to claim Earth,
We're here to save the day?

And now as rulers of the Earth,
We're the hare in the race,
Sprinting to see who gets the most,
Not worried about losing face.

And Marx, you tell me,
That our labor should be of love,
So what if I love nature?
And the planet that's gotten a shove?

How can I labor against culture,
So King to all that is,
For wouldn't this be treason,
And wouldn't I be missed?

But for such fair a project,
I think it's good to try,
To reshape this evil torturer,
As a rebel in disguise.

But Marx, that is their system,
To achieve their means through lies,
So then wouldn't I be disregarded,
Even if I did try?

So my labor of love is peace,
And search for it I will,
No matter how long the journey,
Speed bumps or steep hills.

So Marx, You have shown me,
Errors in this system,
And I will try to share them,
With all of those who'll listen.
