A short poem about the beast we all harbor within ourselves.
Something's welling up inside,
This time I can't run or hide.
I feel it building, feel it rising;
It is truly terrifying.
It twists and turns deep within,
This is a battle I cannot win.
The beast is finally coming out --
And it will consume me without a doubt.
