On my way to Washington, DC
The mountains whiz by
bright and then darker
trees upon trees
Streams brighter and darker
Peoples voices echoing by
There words jumbled
Loud, laughing, Happy
Others quiet, lonely, isolated
Other things not with me
Cards being played
Movies unfunny and annoying
Banana's, apples and grapes
Old letters
Bolded and Capitols
All on trucks outside my window
buildings Dilapidated
Half destroyed
Others cultured and beautiful
flying by outside my window and world
Fields, only sometimes
Maybe beside forest's
Some empty
Others completely filled
A tunnel, tile and cement
Halloween coloured
Hard to concentrate
B-rate horror movie
Tree's and grass
Stone and wood
On slats and high above me
Steep and harsh
My left view
Many different layers
Piles of leaves
You can't see the ground
My ears
Pop, pop
Uncertain times for
Pop, pop
All clogged up
Tiny houses, tiny people
Huge hills, piles of leaves
And limbs
Superior and big
I want to reach out and touch it.
