a poem about how emotions come in waves
With every agonizing breath

a single tear rolls down,

and no control over the ocean,

lost ships will never reach the town.

The dying sailors’ screams for help

that never came and left hopes bare,

reverberate in mindless space

leaving dead thoughts scattered like hair.

After the storm a calmer season comes

when waves so delicate a lullaby.

The sweetest dream that should have set

before a drop begun the cry.

A shooting star was to ignite

the wildest reverie of mind,

but then it fell with awesome crash

leaving dark hole in the ground.
