How can we forget memories?
Faster and faster I turn
Searching for the door
Hidden in my mind
The memories I tore
From the blank pages
My life not yet written
I’m left in an emptiness
I’m cold and I’m smitten

The phantoms encircle me
EmbarrassmentTerrorGuiltHumility
Their gloomy – empty – smiles
Remind me of innocent stupidity
We learn from our mistakes
But some mistakes imprint
An eternal fear into our souls
A fear that stays till we’re cold and limp.

Forget :
-          Fail to remember
-          Stop thinking
Memory:
-          The ability to remember
-          Something you remember

Two words that are opposites, yet when used in conjunction to one another, they can often sum up the lives of many.
