In which the author defeats writer's block.
My imagery has left me
I'm creatively blind
Stumbling in a hurricane of letters
They laugh at me
My mind blocks my heart
Every word that comes
No emotion
The story that hides behind words
Worthless
My only way of living
Surviving
Has left me
Battered and crazy
On the streets of insanity
My friends laugh
Its just writing, they say
Its much more than that
I know it
They know it
And as I walk in the maze
The maze of shattered ideas
And incomplete sentences
I stumble across
The one
The one that you know will get you out
I grab it, strangling it
Never wanting to let the words go
They veer to the right
I block them
Catching them in the veins of ink in my pen
I watch them stream out
Flowing
Dancing letters
The letters become words
The words become sentences
The sentences become paragraphs
Smiling
I chuckle at the scowling letters
That's much better, I murmer
