A trip to the clinic
The walls seem to glow white
and the receptionist looks at me with judging eyes.

It smells of fear and shame,
and I can feel the tension in the air.

No one looks up from the magazines they're pretending to read
and my stomach turns with with each passing second.

The sound of my name being called cuts the silence
and I prepare to end my biggest mistake.

But can I ever forgive myself?
