This is a poem about my racing thoughts and bi polar disorder.
My thoughts are racing as I'm weaving through the clutter
Dodging all the traffic in my mind that makes me stutter

I'm priming the fluids before they inject my veins
Because when I hit the throttle it starts to jolt my brain

A hundred miles an hour as the gas ignites the blood
Redlining my revolutions as the creativity starts to flood

Shifting my perceptions to grind through all my gears
I'm neutralizing the threat clutching all that becomes so real

Punching the accelerator to take the forces of the curves
The rushes from the thrust hits every one of my nerves

I'm blacking out because of oxygen deprivation
As I floor it once again to experience that indescribable sensation

Hyperventilating as the engine starts to wind
I'm overloaded with ideas incapacitating my mind

The faster I go and the more I lose control
But pushing the limits breaks me from this ordinary mold
