I saw a photo of a pregnant woman.
Its a simple contradiction.
A portrait of a beautiful woman.
Well, she could be beautiful.
The darkness envelopes her in all the right places.
Her face is hidden by shadows.

All that is seen is the life.
There is life in her.
The woman bears a child inside.
So why is there darkness?

Is there a reason for this simple contradiction?
Shouldn't the life be celebrated in light?
Why is she masked by darkness?
Why do shadows swallow her?

Its a simple contradiction.
The life of a child....
Covered by darkness.
What sadness!
What loneliness!

There is life in her.
The woman is expecting.
So why is there sadness?
Why does she hide in the darkness?
