The fear of forgeting someone who died but not wanting to remember because its too painful
Photographs

By light your face is fading; I must not forget.
Frantically I search for any trace of you,
my heart it burns and my hands they twitch,
I need to remember; I must not forget.

I long to glimspe your face,
but will not look and remember the,
still frames of a life once lived;
those eyes dance on forever.

Where did they go?..
the eyes, the images..
were they locked away or
snatched from clawing fingers?

In dreams you awaken,
and float in idle thoughts until;
i see those eyes and know that
you are far from lost.

My dreams are all but fiction;
a comic-strip of negatives
