If I could catch the bright
in your eyes
every time we were together

If I could rewire the sweet story
when we shared our favourite fruit

If I could save all your softly kisses
on my hair
into colourful boxes

If I could place your careful voice into a jar,
plant it and
let it grow

If I could forever hold the gently touch
when you caress my cheeks

Then all the coldness, hardness and darkness
