A short poem about my inspirations.
There are days when I try,
To run and hide,
Days when I can't stop the tears,
And I can't help but cry,
How ever sad,
Or depressed I may seem,
There is a light in my eyes,
A spectacular gleam,
An inspiration that pushes me forward,
A goal I have to accomplish,
A way to help the world,
Because I hate the selfish,
My family pushes me,
My friends guide me,
The dropouts inspire me,
But my teachers are there,
To see it through,
Because we are a community,
Not just a school,
A life of regret,
Won't get you very far,
No matter how strong,
You think you are,
So I look past the bad,
The upset and the angry,
These downfalls,
Will only inspire me,
A goal to add,
Not to subtract,
I will heal the sad,
So their faith remains intact,
I will educate,
Like I have been educated,
To inspire the weak,
To get out of bed!
