I never really stopped to think
To really understand
How to make the perfect drink
Or how to form a band

How to draw a puppy's face
Or how to run a mile
How to dash at break-neck pace
Or how to make you smile

How to win a soccer game
Or how to wash a cat
How to paint a picture frame
Or how to swing a bat

How to dream a hundred dreams
If only for an hour
How to paint things you can't see
Just stop to smell the flowers
