just another poem
it happened fortuitously
two stars headed on a collision course
from opposite ends of an atypically alluring universe

they collided; and for an ephemeral time,
the two stars formed into one
disseminating with such brilliance

the universe around them will never be the same
there is an ineffable allurement in this union;
so vigorously transcending time, space, and reason

this is not just some cosmic phenomenon;
transiently, these stars have shone brightly before
but will shine even brighter now
because this is destiny; this is true love
