Which reality is more interesting
The computer screen went blank and workmates gave their same old farewells or jokes as Charlie logged off for the day.

“They think I’m like them,” he said smugly to himself as the elevator descended, “they don’t know about my powers.”

In his mind he flew home, battling villains and aliens invasions on the way.
