Inspiration by an Afr!kan for Afrikans to seek after wisdom and knowledge.
Knowledge

Knowledge is a rare jewel
Only a few find this precious well
And when they do they want to tell
But the simple ridicule ‘em so well
But he’s too wise to consider insults
Two fools wouldn’t understand the results

They’d rather fight than consult
A book’s sight is an intimidation
Insight should be an intimate rendition
Winnowing out all errors and conditions
Giving light to all who dare read information

Complexity should alarm all curiosity
Simplicity is the executive arm of complacency
Acute thought should be the new tendency

A book is an exercise for the brain
Much like jogging is for the muscle
Wrestle against all ignorance
And gain serious mental endurance

Imagination should make you stare at nothing
But at the wonderful pictures your mind is munching
Behold all powerful kingdoms marching
Only wisdom can sustain such splendour
All potential is pregnant with absolute grandeur

Africa, look down on yourself all you want
Knowledge crowns only the adamant
It befriends only the trusted confidant
Hence it freely becomes his informant
“Oh you sluggard go learn from the ant”
