free writing poem
Tempted by lust and blinded by love, I gave all my passion to an angel above.

With lies and shallow promises my heart he did keep, for what lurked behind his eyes was evil and deciet.

He consumed all my happiness and replaced it with pain, leaving me miserable, heartbroken, and insane.

If love is so beautiful, why does it leave you broken and cold...will the pain left behind haunt me when I'm old?

Time is the test that exposes all thats impure, but when your spirit is broken there is no cure.

As he flies back to heaven from which he came, I'll be stuck here on earth cursing his name.

They say its better to love then not to love at all, well they weren't tricked by an angel as I recall.

He clipped my wings before I could fly, then stole my tears before I could cry.

I feel myself torn between love and hate, for love without passion is a horrible fate.
