The tragedy of people forced from their homes and lands.
Diaspora

A people rise from the earth,

Sowing, plowing, building, growing

Children are born, raised, move away

The earth is home, green, alive

Envious eyes watch from afar, glaring

A giant's hand closes, ripping, tearing

Aided by capital, corrupt and foul

People flee, clutching at scraps, blackened

The exiled spread, land to land

A people lost, scattered, estranged, alone

Homeland gone, bound by blood and soil

White hot anger, raging and wild

The Diaspora Lives
