Loves Confession
As I look back upon my days,
Oh, how much time I have lent,
To straightening this tangled maize,
This lifetime so ill spent.
I have tried so hard to get it right.
I swear to God it’s true.
Though the mistakes I’ve made are many,
My love,
Not one of them was you.
