Poem about the month of September
A star twinkles in the midnight sky,
The crescent moon,
Hanging on the horizon,
A cool breeze,
Whisps through the trees,
Stirring up a small pile of leaves,
Shadows dance on the water,
The final signs of summer have all but wasted away,
The winter cold has yet to set in,
I take a deep breath,
And let the cool beauty of a September night,
Set in my soul.
