A poem a daughter from her mother.
I don't always say
How much you mean to me
there's not always a way
to say all I see

So much a woman
not the little girl
I held in my arms
and spun in a little twirl

if only you knew the truth
the things I haven't said
the things since your birth
the words I keep in my head

You are my firstborn Child
So very close to my heart
You make me smile so wild
You have every since the start

I am so proud of who you are
so proud of all you've become
Outshining the brightest star
and proud of where you come from

No parent has the right to feel
the love that burst for you
the kind of love that heals
a love that is so very true

I will do my best everyday
to let you know from now on
How proud I am to say
That I am your loving mom!
