grey look of life through the eyes of a youth off the estate in a jobless town
what kind of places in your life have passed you
the road signs, street wise, beyond the avenue
all streets are the same wen you session in a few
thats what lifes like. this is what its come to-

heads bowed, sat down in the dole office queue
one of many wishin for some way to undo
the pain of life, price is high and yeah that is true
make a doll of David Cameron and practise voodoo-

legal lies infect our lives like mutant bird flu
blame them on a bench with a tin of special brew
columbine, its in ma mind like im sniffin glue
another lost to the street. these kids need rescue-

sleepin under bus shelters wake up cold and blue
stomach turns, lack of food so u start to spew
somewhere somehow this shit all went eschew
risin from the ashes sort ya life, start anew.-

kids shot crack rocks to build up their wealth
must be sick minded, with no clean bill of health
dont relax, cus road tax makes ya green stacks melt
how many rizlas worth do u think uve dealt?-

youths congregate in alleways n ball parks
sleeping in the day. run with blades in the dark
not got enough cash for a Benson to spark
they been addicts since ten to this tobbacco bark-

fallin through the holes in a system that flawed
cussed for doing drugs when kids are just bored
the law dont help them, they just close the door
getting into debt with rent that you cant afford-

the economies fallin whilst the knife crimes rise
we take risks all our lives for those rushes and highs
paranoia its alive as the trust starts to die
forgotten generation of the goverments lies-
