failing marriage is the story that follows this its my last poem or song.bye world
its the air beneath our wings
as our hearts start to fly
oh we hold on so tight
as the angels choir sings
and my guard falls
as i start to cry

i hold fast to your memories
as i try to survive
and everything goes calm

i love you with all my heart
and it cries when we're apart
and i die as i cry
to be by your side
baby lay down your head with me tonight
and i know we can survive

i hold onto
all the dreams we'e had
but all i can do
is dream and be sad
i look for you
everywhere i go
but there is none of you to show
i long to hear your voice
to keep me strong

i hold fast to your memories
as i try to survive
and everything goes calm

i love you with all my heart
and it cries when we are apart
and i die as i cry
to be by your side
baby lay down your head with me tonight
and i know we can survive

there is nothing for me to say
i only wait for that day
where all i do is
hold you in my arms
you are my only love
given straight from above
and dear god i pray
til my dying day
that you'll never leave

i hold fast to your memories
as i try to survive
and everything is calm

i love you with all my heart
and it cries when we're apart
and i die as i cry
to be by your side
baby lay down your head with me tonight
and i know we can survive

you're always on my mind
no matter where i go
i know someday i'll find
your face will finally show
with every breath i take
that day draws near
i close my eyes and
i shed another tear

i hold fast to your memories
as i try to survive
and everything is calm

i love you with all of my heart
and i cries when we are apart
and i die as i cry
to be by your side
baby lay down your head with me tonight
and i know we can survive
