A love poem
The love of my life has found my heart
No more strife, no more harm.
Love and happiness is all I see
It's the perfect life for me.
I love his curly hair, and his hazel eyes
I love how he never makes me cry
I love his laugh and the way he smiles
It seems to go on for miles and miles.
He's a 'bad-boy' and a sweetheart all mixed in one.
And I give my thanks to the man up above,
For sending him in my direction,
For I shall always have his protection.
When I feel his arms around me I know nothing can go wrong.
When he is by my side I feel as if I'm standing strong.
When his soft tender lips press against mine,
He is the only thing on my mind.
All the rest fades away,
Including the words I wanted to say.
"I love you" just doesn't seem to do it,
So now I guess I'll have to prove it.
So when you feel my touch,
Know that it's still not enough,
To prove how much you mean to me.
In time you might come to see,
That no matter what you say or do,
I love you one hundred times more than the seas wrap around the moon.
