A girl's transformation from darkness to light.
Her eyes delve into daylight, but her mind

Is lost and lonely, only left behind

Gripped by the sadness, haunting every word

that dares to skim her lips, then leave, unheard.

She sits and waits and thinks and hopes and dreams,

And out pours all that rips her at the seams.

A whoosh of darkness screeches, screams and dies,

Tears gush out as glitter pricks her eyes.

The thoughts lie dormant, crumpled on the floor,

She smiles and daylight catches her once more...
