A poem I quickly wrote to show how some crimes can be justified
Crimes of passion, crimes of hate
these are the things that fill my plate
I've seen it all before, now there's nothing left to see
I've become the very thing I hate, now there's nothing left for me.

If a man steals some bread, is that still a crime?
For feeding his starving family you make him to time,
you throw a young boy in a cell and watch him go bad
he is released as a man, twisted and mad.

Society has failed you and now you are dead
why oh why didn't you listen to the things that I said,
you should have stayed in school, to become someone new
to say goodbye to your old life and tell it your through.

One shot to the body, another to the arm
the red tide has rolled in and it's not looking calm,
revenge is bitter sweet but sorrow will soon follow
filling the hole in your heart that is now black and hollow.

So now we say goodbye and ring the old brass bell
take a quick glance of heaven before you're dragged down to hell,
now everything's changed, its all turned around
and all it took was for you to lie six feet in the ground.
