short bio of sorts.
For many years I put down my pen
In an attempt not to feel.
I forced my passionate spirit
Into a world of medicated apathy
And into a state of chemical peace.

But then, around me, things fell apart
As all living things do when unattended
And I was forced to wake up from my lazy slumber
And face the reality I callously neglected.

And it was cold
And it was real
And it was vibrant

And I found in the darkest pain, a joy.

I realized the art of feeling

And the beauty of what it means to care.

Hope brings new life in stages
Building blocks upon eachother
Shaping us for what we are to become
Whatever it is, we long to be.
Blocking your heart to this ever changing world is a slow killing poison.
Learning to love, is the hardest lesson
And the only one that can truly set you free.
