This poem is about healing.
In reckless abandon I write this poem

I feel that my healing is almost done

The past is a burden my shoulders now take

The feelings of hurt I'm trying to shake

My eyebrows are weighed down with heavy guilt

All those walls it took years to firmly build

Are crumbling with intensity

Losing the pain and finding me

It's like a war within my brain

I find the sun, then shade again

I look for myself through the haze of doubt

Then drop my shields, and let the truth come out.
