Ever wish your life was like a novel? Yeah, so does everyone else on the planet.
Lives like books.
Their stories foretold;
Everything falls into place
Loving by day,
Dreaming by night,
Hearts reading by
The soul's soft light.

Lives like stories.
Keep pressing replay;
Locked in our untrue worlds.
The heartache,
The sorrow,
Overcome by joy:
A summation into which
You would burrow.

Lives like novels.
Conquered by lies;
building your house around it.
Your family,
Your friends,
Traded in for brand new
Contentment
Was never founded.

Lives like fiction.
Can you not see?
Your fables filled with laughter,
A utopia,
A fairytale,
These things cannot give you
Your happily ever after.
