Reminiscing the good old days in the painful present.
The days gone by,
When there was no pain and cry.
I was innocent as a child,
full of hope, joy and kind.

Enjoying the little things of life,
with no sorrow and strife.
Days were colorful and nights musical,
Life was all and beautiful.

But, I wonder, when did I took that turn,
when life got messy and lost its charm.
I grapple in the dark and search for light,
but, doors wont open, even with all might.

I kick, I push, but all in vain,
I cry, as nothing left, but pain.
My heart, all broken and bruised.
There is nothing left, for it to loose.

My heart had long turned timber,
nursing my wounds, I can only remember,
The days gone by,
when there was no pain and cry(2)
