what comes to mind when i think of America
The United States of
Patriots dreaming
freedom, liberty,
and after more dreaming, equality
people described as confident, free and easy,
and dreamers of big things
strong, powerful, a think big to be big
spirit
The same rebellious spirit and feirce passion
built our country
with a 'don't tread on me' principle
with help from the dreamers,
no matter how far fetched
A love that is shown shining in the sky
on the Fourth of every July
what makes the parades and barbeques
so special on this day
is the pride shining in every American's eye
that the nation was built from dreams
Nothing is sweeter than a s'more
roasted to perfection in an american fire
with faces glowing around the firelight
peacefully dreaming
Through good times and bad
the can do spirit of the nation remains
even on the delicate thread of remembering
better days
Incomparable, indescribable, and inspirational
are the American dreams
the dreams that gave Britain grief
the dreams that kept our heads held high
the dreams that make us who we are
America
