Poem, Poetry, Writer, Writing

Woe to the writer's prose
The frustrations only a writer knows

His addiction to the words he writes
Becomes clear when the page stays white

It’s a need he must fulfill
To make sure he is a writer still

Then at the end of the writer’s block
He writes a brilliant piece that rocks

All the worries in his head
Forgotten until again, the dread

What if they never come again?
Those words I need to live within
