For the Poem A Day contest-Prompt-free verse about cats

Motionless mass of orange-
Sprawl of marmalade in a wing back chair.
And then a tail twitch, a sigh.
The furry mountain moves at last,
If only to roll over.
Luxurious stretch, eyes lazily open just enough-
Yellow slits glance at me,
Close just as slowly.
She turns her head away,
Free to express her contempt of her Human.
Until she's hungry again.
