Do you dream in color, or perhaps something beyond that?
Violet rays cascade off her hair,
Chasing away my gray.
She dances into my room on a golden sun flare
To deliver me from another blue day.

Her eyes of azure beacon me near,
Fueling the amber fires of her heart.
I capture her translucent tears.
Slumbering in her jade meadows while apart,

Her many colors play sweetly in my head.
My favorite hues are always in sight,
Because unlike the shades of a rainbow
I can see her beauty even while my eyes are closed tonight.
