A short poem about a man who discovers joy in the nights moon
The night hugged the moon

Showing only little of its possible glow

The stars shown dimly as time progresses

And the streets lay empty of people

That is except for the man on the bench

Waiting for day to come

He sat on the bench waiting for the sun

Until a small bird came to land on the mans lap

The bird tweeted and sang as if day had come

But the moon had not moved from the sky

The man listened to the bird

For its voice rang of joy and happiness

While Listening to the bird

The man realized that day was not the end

That night was a time of hope and wonder

And that moon was as beautiful as the sun
