You're never older than thirty-nine.
When I looked in the mirror, I didn't expect
The face of this stranger I saw it reflect.
If I didn't know better I'd say it was me
All except for the gray where the black use to be.

Now I'm sure I'd remember those lines at the eyes
Or the leathery skin of this artful disguise.
Is this one of those mirrors the carnivals use
For distorting your image to funnier views?

An amazing display that can mimic my form
And yet change minor details so far from the norm.
Well you got me that time, boy this mirror is fun,
There's no way you could tell I'm just seventy-one.
