A short set of loose thoughts
Integrity’s and posterity’s plans--
Collecting virtues and dimes.
Banality’s in calamity’s hands;
Withstand it biding its time.

I stare at you, I prepare for your eyes;
Intent on seeing you through,
The open-end lies and royal blue skies.
I’ll only blink if you do.

I’m learning how to sort out my soul.
I’m learning how to tell you the truth.
