That warming light that gives me strength. The rays of the sun.
Darkness cries, the shadows fears.
The sunlight rise, broken near.
Those golden rays fill my life.
Warming me, until the day I die.
Oh, how I wish I could fly.

Take to the sky, like a bird.
Worries washed away, let the troubles fade.
That warming light that gives me strength.
The rays of the sun.

Fading away to the night.
Looking to the stars, hoping for a new golden light.
The moon is full, a borrowed shine.
That silvery light of grace.
The sun is out there somwhere in space.

Waiting for night to pass away.
The sun shall rise another day.
Oh the golden rays full of life.
The sun melts away my days of strife.
This holy warmth, oh how I could fly.
