Classic break up poetry...
What causes us to hate?
Is it a psychosis of the brain?
Perhaps it's something older
Something ingrained into my soul
Longing to rend it's way through my flesh

Oh, I know what it is
It's you
Oh, and it's not because you don't care
It's that you don't care enough

Forcefully drawing out this carnival of emotions
Chaotic and dreary
Where hate meets despair
Shadowing a lugubrious light into my eyes

Oh love, which one is it?
Is it hate?
Or is it sadness?
That you innervated me with

This feeling is cold
The kind that burns
Rage self contained
Stoic I stand alone
